Sacramento County Young Democrats Endorse Nancy Chaires in Elk Grove City Council District 4 Race
The Sacramento County Young Democrats (SCYD) announced their endorsement of Nancy Chaires for Elk Grove City Council District 4.
“We are proud and excited to endorse fellow Young Democrat Nancy Chaires for Elk Grove City Council,” said SCYD President Samantha Farmer. “Nancy has proven herself to be an incredibly driven and results oriented leader throughout her time in public service and in her community. We look forward to supporting her candidacy for District Four.”
Nancy, a graduate of Whittier College and Harvard University, became the youngest person and first woman ever appointed to the Elk Grove Planning Commission in 2008. She maintains an active role in the Elk Grove community, serving as a member of the Community Advisory Committee at Franklin High School, as a Lector at St. Joseph’s Church, and on various boards dedicated to youth development and women’s leadership. Nancy resides in Elk Grove with her husband and son.

SCYD meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the SEIU State Council Building on 710 J Street.
