The Sacramento County Young Democrats have recently revised our bylaws to include new Executive Board Advisory Officers, including the Recording Secretary and Field Director.

The Recording Secretary is tasked with serving as the official SCYD Historian and record-keeper, including the responsibility for taking General Membership and Executive Board minutes, retention and maintenance of organizational records, and providing support in the transition between elected SCYD officers.

The Field Director is tasked with overseeing SCYD's field operations for the 2024 election cycle, and is expected to coordinate the organization's political volunteering, recruit volunteers, attend canvassing/voter contact events, and generally serve as the point-of-contact for our endorsed campaigns.
