SCYD Policy Committee
2023-2024 Chair: Policy Director Erika Valle
The Policy Committee discusses local, state and federal policies to educate Sacramento Young Democrats on impacts of current laws, potential policy changes, and the legislative process. The goal of the committee is to create policy priorities for the club and take positions on local/state policies that will have positive or negative effects on the community, specifically young adults in Sacramento. You should join the policy committee if you enjoy talking with very intelligent, well-connected young democrats about policies that should be implemented.
